I am a writer, recipe developer, food stylist, and photographer. Most of my writing deals with food, travel, and, whenever possible, the broader historical, sociopolitical, and anthropological themes that they implicate. 

My work has appeared in The Boston Globe, VICE Munchies, Edible Boston, Observer Magazine (UK), Food Republic, Roads & Kingdoms, and the Boston Phoenix. I have a particular interest in the cultures and cuisines of the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Levant, but have filed stories from Scandinavia, the UK, Western Europe, Mexico, Australia, and all over the United States as well.

I also play drums in the band Frankie Cosmos. We eat very well on tour.
